THE LADYBUGS

The Ladybugs’ varied repertoire of music is enhanced by the enchanting, dulcet tones of voices and trombones. Our music is a reflection of our home city, New York; culturally diverse, fashionable, and welcoming to all people. The music we play is a unique blend of genres we call “Dreamy Latin cowgirl jazz.” We combine our love and reverence for the classic Great American Songbook repertoire with the music of our Latin American heritage (specifically Cuban, Colombian and Brazilian) to create a uniquely New York sound. The Ladybugs’ repertoire includes favorites from the 1920s, ‘30s, and ‘40s, infused with Western swing, blues, Latin, and classical music.
